Suffering Heat Stroke because Beanie

A neighborhood resident endured from the heat stroke yesterday due to the fact he was as well warmly dressed although strolling by way of downtown Springfield in the humid, 99-degree climatic conditions. Jacoby Trapper, a known hipster, reportedly “refused to just take off his slouch beanie” regardless of the heat since he “wasn’t some mainstream sell-out.”

“He should have at least taken off the flannel or the scarf,” mentioned friend Lacey Jameson, “but that beanie, covering the top-back 40 % of his head, actually did him in.”

Jameson and the other witnesses with Trapper described that he commenced sweating profusely, he complained of a headache, his vanity glasses fogged up, and then he commenced to have problems with muscle spasms. They believed that he was just dancing ironically, but genuinely he was possessing a heat stroke.

What is Heat Stroke?

According to Mayoclinic, Heatstroke is a life-threatening condition that occurs when your body temperature reaches 104 F (40 C) or higher. Heatstroke can be brought on by high environmental temperatures, by strenuous physical activity or by other conditions that raise your body temperature. Whatever the cause, you’ll need immediate medical attention to prevent brain damage, organ failure or death.

Heat Stroke Symptoms

Heatstroke symptoms include:

  • High body temperature
  • A lack of sweating
  • Flushed skin
  • Rapid breathing
  • Racing heart rate and strong pulse (tachycardia)
  • Headache
  • Neurological symptoms
  • Muscle cramps or weakness
