The most recent recall is dated Dec. 17 on Pfizer’s website. The 19,000 bottles represent just one great deal of Lipitor. Pfizer says one particular client complaint spurred recall with the entire lot.

Pfizer is just not the only drug company affected by musty packaging. TBA in storage pallets is blamed for recent recalls of Johnson & Johnson’s Tylenol.

All with the recalled bottles contain Lipitor 40 milligram tablets. The whole lot number with the current recall is 0836050.
