The weather is about to start cooling off, but not so for the new fall fashions this season. They are in full swing and the jewelry they are bringing with them is anything but mild. While researching some of the top department store sites on the net, a few particular trends seemed to keep popping up everywhere.

When it comes to bracelets, there are no wimpy contenders here. It appears to be a lot about bangles and cuff styles. There were wide sterling silver pieces that cover a good portion of the wrist, along with bangles that follow a close second in size.

Some leather and fabric varieties are also supposed to be in this season, but there were not a lot of those to be found. There were some cute anniversary bangles that were a thinner size of sterling silver, and were inscribed with sentiments.

Necklaces might be a slight bit more understated, with silver tone chains in various lengths. The pendants worn with the chains were not too large, were of different designs, and usually just one per necklace.

The exceptions were the single large semi precious gem stone pendants, they are fairly large. Thick gold rope chains or a single chunky strand of beads are also great looks for this season.

In the earring category there are some smaller dangly types hanging around set with a lot of the semi precious gem stones that are all in vogue right now. The other options are hoop aerrings of about medium size or bigger, along with shapes in a more pointed arrowhead design and squares shapes.

The hottest looks to be found in great numbers were the rings. Great big, bold and beautiful art deco looking rings. They are mostly set with semi precious gem stones in many colors ranging from citrine, blue topaz, and green peridot in bright shades, to the more somber browns of smoky quartz, tiger eye, and foggy looking quartz, a lot of them are set in sterling silver.

Black onyx is popular also and was particularly stunning in the silver setting. There were so many of these large, single, semi precious stones and almost all were in the cushion cut. This cut tended to give these stylish rings a smooth elegant appearance without a trace of gaudiness despite there size.

These are the kind of rings that you only need to wear one of to have to everyone noticing. The key word for the look of jewelry this season can be summed up in one no so little word, BOLD.
