Carlina White, found after more than 20 years missing
More than two decades in the past, a newborn sick with fever was snatched from a fresh York City hospital, her frantic mom returning for the emergency room to locate an empty crib. On Wednesday, police said the baby – now a woman – continues to be identified.
Carlina White was just 19 days outdated when she disappeared from Harlem Hospital on Aug. 4, 1987. Police searched for her kidnappers but in no way found enough evidence to charge any suspects. Her mom, Joy White, often had a feeling that her baby was alive, her household explained.
On Jan. 4, a woman known as Nejdra Nance, who was raised in Bridgeport, Conn., and now lives in Atlanta, contacted White, sending along baby images that looked almost identical to shots of Carlina posted on a missing children’s internet site. Nance informed White she thought she might be her daughter.

Luckily she still got an image of her that trigger the identification. I doubt people would notice me if you compare my look with my 19-days-old photo of mine.
